Does anybody know what kind of shape Big Cherry Lake is in now that we have finally had some rain and snow?

the lake has gained some in the past few weeks. thank God. I will be going up on the knob tomorrow to hunt i will check it out futher.

As of Friday, the lake had about 9 plus feet. We have received some rain since so I would guess it has a little more. The streams that feed into the lake have begun to flow again, so things are looking better. We still must continue to conserve.

A long ways from being over. But things are looking better. Hopefully with the break in the weather cycle. We will get some steady rains. The best news was the feeder streams picking back up, that means the water table is beginning to recover. But as Mr. G said still be easy on what you use. It's not over just looking better.

Also if you live in the Southern Section if you notice water running, report it to the town hall.
There is possibly a good size leak out in that area. Or possibly several small leaks making for still a good amount of water being loss.

the lake is far far from the full mark. id say it will take it till april to get full.

Still the question I have is how will the fishing there be effected. I might ride up there saturday mornining and try some bank fishing if you think it will produce anything.
